Weekend Review

Happy Tuesday all!!!

Mr. Pickle was busy doing his own thing this weekend, so I had a pretty open weekend. That didn't last long.

Friday after work I joined my sister and some friends at my sister's apartment in San Francisco for some good ol' fashion girl time. We had appetizers and plenty of wine and my sister had a make-up and facial demonstrator come in and share a few things. Did you know there is such a thing as eyelash mites that are more common in women who wear eye make-up often, especially when the eye make-up is not removed at night!!! GROSS! You best believe I went home and scrubbed off all my eye make-up before I passed out for the night. Moving on...I had a wonderful time hanging with the ladies and being pampered.

Saturday morning I took my grandpa out to breakfast with my mom. My mom has been out of town visiting her sister for 3 weeks so I thought it would be nice for all of us to be able to catch up. After spending time with my grandpa, I met up with a longtime friend of mine. She is getting married in May and has asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding (so excited)!! So Saturday we got together and picked out the bridesmaid dresses and talked all things wedding for a few hours. We got lunch at Panera and literally sat there for like two hours talking about wedding details and catching up. Saturday night I was so pooped I fell asleep around 10:30!

Sunday I went to Santa Cruz with my sister and her boyfriend to visit my Aunt & Uncle who are in town from Montana! We went out to lunch and came back to their beach house they were staying at and chit chatted for a few hours before we had to head home. I am hoping to see them again this week and if not we are really wanting to make it to Montana for Turkey Day!

A very busy, but very fun weekend.

PS. Mr. Pickle and the Starvin' Marvin' BBQ team had a competition on Saturday and got 2nd place for their chicken!!! So proud of them!!
