Valentine's Day Wishlist

So, Mr. Pickle and I do not really celebrate Valentine's Day by exchanging gifts. Typically he will get me flowers and I will make him heart shaped cookies or brownies and we will make dinner at home (or order a pizza like we did last year)!! This works for us, so I am definitely not complaining.

However, I thought I would make a list of gifts I wouldn't turn down IF he decided to buy me something (and really wanted to spoil me) :)
1.) Couples Massage (We both dig massages, but have never received one together.)

2.) A charm bracelet from Tiffany's with a cute charm

3.) Christian Louboutin - Greissimo

4.) Marc Jacobs Trash Clutch

5.) Dinner at the Melting Pot (I have never been, but I hear wonderful things)

6.) Tickets to Wicked

Being that we are flying home from L.A. on Valentine's Day, I am foreseeing another night cuddled up in our PJ's, on the couch with the dogs, eating take-out and watching a movie. All this sounds like the perfect Valentine's Day celebration to me!!
How do you and your SO celebrate Valentine's Day? What are/would you ask for if you could make a list?

Fashion Help

Okay ladies...I need your fashion expertise!!
I am going to a wedding in L.A. this weekend and just bought a dress similar to the one pictured below. However, the one I bought is black, does not have the rouching that this one does and the flowers do not go around the neck line rather just on the shoulder.
Sorry, bad picutre I know!!!!
I am hoping you can give me your opinions on accessories.
I LOVE adding fun shoes to a black dress (read purple, pink or blue) but I don't know if the one shoulder silhouette and the flower on the shoulder with colorful shoes would be too much or not?!?!
I also have simple diamond jewlery (necklace, bracelet and earings - my wedding jewlery) that I typically wear to weddings but don't know if I should just do earings and a bracelet and no necklace or just a bracelet and no earings or necklace, etc.
And what do I do about a coat or shall? If I put anything over the dress, it is going to look like I am wearing shoulder pads on one shoulder!! Haha.
Also, I have a black clutch that I will be using to keep my phone, lip gloss, etc. in.
Thoughts? Advice? Suggestions?

Smooth As Butter

This weekend we continued to celebrate Mr. Pickle's 30th birthday!!

Late Saturday afternoon a few of us headed to Tres Agaves for an early dinner.

So as you may see in the above photos, a few of us are dressed up (we got a lot of looks from fellow diners)...allow me to explain. We went to dinner before we headed to Butter. Butter is a white trash/eighties bar where we had Mr. Pickle's party. Dressing up for the party was encouraged. I love theme parties, so of course I was down to dress up as were a select few.

Mr. Pickle & My Sister

These shirts were worn at Mr. Pickle's Bachelor Party a few years ago. I love that they had no idea the other was going to be wearing these shirts.

Mr. Pickle Turns 30!

This Sunday my wonderful hubby, Mr. Pickle, turned the BIG 3-0!!!

Mr. Pickle's Cake

As I mentioned before, we celebrate Mr. Pickle's birthday by going to Pacific Grove with a few friends. Our friend's have a GORGEOUS home in Pacific Grove and have been inviting us every year. This year my sister and her boyfriend came with us to join in on the fun.

I picked Mr. Pickle up from the San Francisco Airport on Friday afternoon (he was flying back from the BCS National Championship game in Pasadena). We headed to Cannery Row and stopped by one of our favorite restaurants for an appetizer while we waited for the other couples to get into town.

Once we got to the house we ordered pizza, opened some wine and enjoyed each others company.

Saturday morning the girls took a walk on the beach. Once we returned to the house we had a yummy breakfast. After getting cleaned up and meeting up with some other friends and headed out to a few wineries in Carmel Valley.

Wine Tasting at Joullian

After hitting several wineries we headed back to the house. Again, we opened some wine, enjoyed the ocean view and the sunset and let the boys take over the kitchen to make an amazing dinner. Mr. Pickle and my sister's boyfriend, Scott, are great cooks and love to make excellent dishes. We are some lucky ladies!! (My sis took pictures of the food, so I will have to add them later.) After dinner we enjoyed some ice cream cake and some more wine.

Happy Birthday To You!!

Sunday morning my sister and I woke up before everyone else and went for a walk on the beach. The weather outside was beautiful!

So Pretty

Love The Beach

When we got back to the house we made some breakfast. After hanging out for a bit we picked up some clam chowder in a bread bowl (this is a must have when you visit the area). We hit the road shortly after. We had an amazing weekend with some great people. Can't wait to do it again!!

P.S. Yes, we realize our weekend basically consisted of eating too much food and drinking a lot of wine!!
