Words can't even express how lucky I feel to have such wonderful friends, family and husband. The last few days of my twenties and first few days of my thirties (gasp) were spent being spoiled by the ones I love and celebrating in style.
Thursday Mr. Pickle and I went out to breakfast and then headed to Napa to do some wine tasting and eat at one of our favorite restaurants in Yountville, Bistro Jeanty.

Ever so famous Tomato Soup
Friday, Mr. Pickle, my sis, my sis' fiance and I went to Sonoma for the day. We discovered a new favorite winery, Westwood. Since it is in the Sonoma Square, we were able to enjoy a picnic lunch at the square before heading to a few more wineries. On the way home, we went to dinner at The Melting Pot. It was my first time there and I was super excited. We STUFFED ourselves!! Very yummy though.
Saturday was supposed to be spent at Tomales Bay, but Mother Nature had other plans because it rained All. Day. Long. Instead we enjoyed the day going to see Hangover 2, hanging out at home, working on a sewing project with my sis while the boys made a fabulous dinner and then rented a movie. It was nice to relax a bit since we have all been super busy.
Sunday I was taken out to brunch to La Note which was delicious. I was told it was just going to be the four of us and my in-laws, but when I showed up, there were a bunch of peeps for a surprise celebration. I was oblivious to everything until I walked in and was so surprised. After brunch, my sis had arranged for the two of us to spend the day at the Claremont Hotel Spa. For those of you who aren't familiar, this was a big treat because the spa is all fancy and upscale. My mom heard what the plan was and decided she had to join us. My sis had me scheduled for a massage first thing and then we were all able to hang out and enjoy their facilities (which are amazing) before we got pedicures and enjoyed a bottle of champagne. After we left the spa, my sis and I went out to dinner and I decided to spend the night at her house to watch movies and work on some crafts. (Mr. Pickle had to leave after brunch to go to Washington DC for work.)
Wearing the birthday hat my sister made for me
Monday we ran some errands, had sushi with my bestie, walked around the reservoir, worked on some more crafts and got ready for the upcoming work week.
I had a FABULOUS birthday weekend and am so thankful for all those who participated and made it so special (especially Mr. Pickle, my sister and her fiance).
